Minor in Wine Trade and Tourism


This cross-disciplinary program prepares individuals for employment in many areas of the wine industry including tourism, hospitality services, retailing, wine sales and marketing, and tasting-room and event management.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the minor requires admission to the Wine Trade Professional Certificate program. Students must be 21 years of age or older and must apply for acceptance into the program. Permission of the certificate program advisor is required.

Special Requirements

The certificate program is a 10-week, intensive program, and all four courses must be taken concurrently, Students will be expected to spend significant amounts of time outside the classroom working on projects and assignments. Students must obtain a grade of “B-” or above in all four courses to recieve this certificate.

Financial Obligations

Because this is a self-support program,  no tuition waiver programs apply. Additional course fees and continuing education tuition apply.
